Generations Homecare System Introduces New Sandata Interface for Homecare Providers in Colorado

The comprehensive homecare system enables homecare providers in Colorado to seamlessly bill Medicaid.

Mt. Pleasant, MI, July 22, 2020 – Today, Generations Homecare System announced its Sandata interface for homecare providers that bill Medicaid in the state of Colorado. Generations clients in Colorado can now seamlessly bill Medicaid with Sandata and continue to meet the state’s regulatory requirements ahead of the electronic visit verification implementation date of August 3, 2020.

“We remain committed to helping our customers achieve compliance universally and especially when it comes to state EVV requirements. As more and more individuals move from clinical settings to receiving care in the home, it is critical that homecare providers continue to maintain accurate records for reimbursement and quality assurance purposes,” stated Lance Ferden, Generations Homecare System Cofounder and Co-CEO.

Benefits of the Generations Interface for Sandata

Benefits of the new functionality include the following:

  • HIPAA compliance
  • Accurate records and billing exports under Colorado’s new regulatory requirements
  • A simplified reimbursement process using fully integrated EVV

What’s more, the in-app electronic and voice signature functionality that exists in the Generations Mobile App can help limit office visits, thus reducing the chance for infection during public health events such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are pleased to be able to offer homecare providers in Colorado a seamless solution for billing Medicaid. We believe that this new EVV functionality will result in exceptional care delivery. Generations clients will continue to use the secure and HIPAA compliant Generations Mobile App to electronically verify and record visits, ” said Lisa Ferden, Generations Homecare System Vice Cofounder and Co-CEO.
